Who we are

Hotel Loyalty Points (hotelloyaltypoints.com) is an independent travel website run by Warren Sawczyn, based in Brisbane, Australia. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

What we collect

We don’t use analytics or advertising tools of our own to track you, and we don’t ask you to create an account. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically keeps standard server logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.

If you email us, we keep your email address and message only to reply to you.

Embedded content

Our site includes videos from YouTube and uses fonts loaded from Google. Some partner tools, such as Klook’s banners and the Travelpayouts affiliate script, also load from the partner’s own servers. These services may receive your IP address and may set their own cookies, under their own privacy policies.

Affiliate links and partners

Some links on this site are affiliate links to travel products and services. If you click one, you leave our site and the partner may use cookies to record that you came from us. This may earn us a commission at no extra cost to you. Each partner has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read it.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent or share your email address or personal details with anyone. We don’t send unsolicited marketing emails.

You can ask to see or correct any information we hold about you by emailing hello@hotelloyaltypoints.com. If you’re not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au.
